Chief Executive Office

Engineer Hassan Rehman is the Chief Executive Office of Rehman Energy Services. He has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry, including a 20-year career with Arabian Power. During this time, Mr. Rehman accumulated experience in all major functional areas of the electrical power industry, including engineering, economic and markets analysis, financial, legal and regulatory, fuel procurement, and environmental and in all conventional forms of power generation and fuels (oil, gas, coal, and nuclear).

Mr. Rehman was directly involved in most of the major power supply and delivery decisions and projects undertaken by Rehman Energy Services from the late 1990’s till date.

He has been directly involved in the development, construction, financing, and management of energy projects for Rehman Energy Services as well as the evaluation and, if applicable, the development of new technologies, with particular emphasis on renewable electricity and fuels.

Rehman Energy Services is a pioneer and leader in sustainable agriculture and the conversion of renewable agricultural resources (sugars, carbohydrates, and biomass) to energy, such as electricity and ethanol, Mr. Rehman has been instrumental in all such efforts. Mr. Rehman has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Business Administration from Iowa State University, and an Executive MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Executive Director

As executive director of Rehman Energy Cooperative, Mariam Rehman focuses on providing strategic leadership for the team, enhancing brand recognition for the organization, and building upon the strong relationships that exist among the 4 cooperative members.

With more than 20 years of nonprofit management experience, Mariam has led membership, marketing and conference development for associations representing wind energy, cosmetics, and public power utilities as well as serving on the communications staff at the U.A.E Chamber of Commerce.

Mariam graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in international trade and George Mason University with a Master of Public Administration concentrating on nonprofit management.
